About this Event

Songs in difficult times and songs of hope.

Introduced by David Suchet.

During this time you have all been very much in our thoughts.

St.Katherine’s team is made up of many creatives, actors, artists and musicians. On the 18th July, we are coming together in the Chapel of RFSK to curate an exclusive night of music and performance; a fundraising event to raise money for our new pop up food bank delivering much needed fresh food to vulnerable local East End families and also towards a new meditation garden to create a new beautiful and contemplative outdoor space behind the Chapel.

The event will be directed by our neighbour Matthew Abrams, an international musical director who has been directing shows such as South Pacific, Jersey Boys and many others. Among the performers will be RFSK’s own Ugne, a remarkably talented singer from Lithuania and star of The Voice. We will also have part of RFSK life brought to life through a couple of drama pieces devised and performed by Ben Mackenzie and Barnaby Simmonds, 2 professionally trained actors also on the Foundation staff.

Through the yurt cafe and convenience store, St Katherine’s has remained an active part of the community during this lockdown. We are delighted to be open again as normal for guests from the 4th July.

We very much look forward to hosting you at RFSK again and in the meantime this is our gift to you. We hope you will join us on the 18th July for a very special evening.

Watch in the comfort of your own home – streamed live.

Among the performers will be RFSKs own Ugne, a remarkably talented singer from Lithuania and star of XFactor.
